MONTHLY MEETING

The meeting was called to order in ritualistic fashion by Commander
Ryczak.

MINUTES:
All members received a digital copy of the Minutes twice prior to the
meeting. A motion to accept the September Minutes was made by Jim Jones and
seconded by Hal Myers. All were in favor.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Howard Wolfe gave the Camp account balance.
A motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report was made by
Giovan Lisi and seconded by Bill Burns.
All were in favor.
EAGLE SCOUT REPORT:
Jim Jones asked for assistance on conferring awards on November 23rd
in Stroudsburg.
Jerry Skotleski offered to possibly assist.
MEMBERSHIP:
Reinstatement of Bob Baker as a member.
A voice vote was called with all in favor.
CORRESPONDENCE:
All Department and General Orders have been forwarded via email to
members.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Hal Myers brought up a discussion on the Camp creating the “Lt. Ezra S.
Griffin Award.”
This award would be the highest honor a member of the Camp could
receive.
After a brief discussion it was decided a committee would be created to
determine the description, type and other information pertaining to the award
and present it to the Camp.
The award committee will be Hal Myers, Jim Jones and
Jeremy Allen.
A motion to create the committee and award was made by Tim Chase
and seconded by Bill Dixon.
A voice vote was called with all in favor.
NEW BUSINESS:
A motion was made by Hal Myers to appoint Bill Dixon and Tim Chase to
the GAR Memorial Association.
Jerry Skotleski seconded the motion.
A voice vote was called with all in favor.

GOOD OF THE ORDER:
Giovan will be marching in the Remembrance Day Parade again this year.
A conversation was had on the renovations made to Little Round Top.
A discussion was had on the Cannon at Cathedral Cemetery.
Bill Dixon is going to reach out to a local contractor
about getting a quote to estimate the repairs.
The next monthly meeting will be held on Saturday, November 16th
at 10am.
With no further business, the camp was closed in ritualistic manner by
Commander Ryczak.
